I wanted to take a minute and thank Dr. Curren and the staff at Lakewood Animal Hospital. I was taking my two dogs in for a regular check up and my oldest was attacked in the parking lot by a German Shepherd. The staff came running out, got my dog safely inside and treated him. They did not charge me for all the extra stuff they had to do today. He is home, battered, bruised and stapled but, thankfully alive. They were amazing.
While I'm thanking awesome Lakewood businesses I should also thank Rozi's for helping me out of a jam last night....Corey, much appreciated!

well .... I guess we know what breed of dog is now on the radar screen to be banned. Wanna start a pool to see how quickly german sheperd is added to the dangerous dog ordinance?

I guess I should not have mentioned the breed...certainly not the Shepherd's fault....just dogs being dogs. Grateful that it didn't end as bad as it could have.

It's not the fault of the breed. The fault lies with of the irresponsible owner who cannot/will not control his/her dog (no matter the breed).
