I am incredibly grateful to the local businesses who generously donated to our fund raiser. This should be a lot of fun and hopefully many will walk away with a nice basket. Most of the donations came from small and independently owned businesses and so many came from MAMA with no hesitation!

There are still tickets left for the event and can be bought at the door for $20 if you want to come and have some fun and support our children!

And I want to add the our principal at Hayes, Mr. Curtin has bought a ticket and shows up at EVERY HAYES event, evening, weekend, etc. and I have not met a more supportive principal which is why Hayes runs so smoothly and feels like a private school, like a family!

New Add On! Rozis Wine just generously donated a wine or beer tasting for two worth $50 and of course includes their gourment chef's bites! Basket #13

I have to say I had a lot of fun going around the local businesses to get the donations. I bought something in every one not just because I support local businesses but because I love their items!
Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and you can pm me to buy some if you can't make the event.

Justine you are so right about Mr. Curtin and the entire staff at Hayes! They are outstanding!! Five years ago with two in college and a third one soon to start, we moved our four youngest kids from private school to the Lakewood City Schools. We figured we could earmark the money saved towards the boys in college. It was the best parenting decision we have ever made. It has opened up our world and we have met some wonderful friends. I was blown away with the quality of education the kids received.

Thank you for your hard hard work on the FUNdraiser! Kevin and I are looking forward to coming and enjoying a fun night out. With Joey being a 5th Grader at Hayes I am grateful to all who have worked so hard getting ready for tonight's big event!

Also tonight, John Levis and his band FireSide Lakewood will be playing live at ATC beginning at 8:00pm.

FireSide is an outstanding acoustic rock band from Lakewood, OH. Playing a wide variety of cover songs from CSN to Simon and Garfunkel to Peter Gabriel to The Beatles in a unique and creative way.

Joining John Levis who will be on Vocals/Guitar will be fellow Lakewoodites: Tom Leatherman - Vocals/Keyboards/Percussion, Jim Latham - Bass, and
Lance Healy - Percussion/Harmonica.

Hope to see some of you there!!

Last night was a lot of fun and here is to a HUGE thank you to the businesses who donated. It means a lot for each donation. The baskets looked great and I was proud for them to represent our small businesses. A few of our top businesses here in Lakewood said it wasn't in their budget and I just have to say again, it is the small, independently owned local businesses who come through in our community and who I encourage all to support. Of couse that is preaching to the choir on the Deck!
