The best crew in the world, that would be the LO/AGS Family, have delivered a new Holiday Baby into the world! AGS's core crew of Betsy Voinovich, Deb O'Bryan, and Maggie Fraley are just spectacular!
The Rockport Observer, serving the communities of Rocky River and Fairview Park was brought into this world at 3:10 yesterday! And it is a little beauty. With a nice Advisory Board made up of civic leaders in both cities, and edited and published by Human Tribe Publishing / Matthew Weiland. The little 8 page full color paper is available in over 150 stores and locations in and around Fairview Park and Rocky River.
This would bring the time from start-up to actual paper down to 6 weeks, breaking the record of The Campus District which is starting to grow into one of the best Observers out there under the publishing skills of Rockette Richardson, edited by Mark Duluk, and gently guided by our friends at the Sisters of Charity and Tri-C.
What is even more amazing, we just found out that two more are on the way in the first quarter of 2012. Along with some strange but fun loving cousins!
If you are getting this note, you are part of the Observer project in some way, and I would personally like to thank you for everything you have done to make this project stable, and grow into what most communities believe is the most important media organ in their community. It is a privilege for everyone at AGS to work with these projects in an effort to amplify the voices, and good deeds of all residents, businesses, students and civic groups in those communities.
