We got a note today that Celia Dorsch is stepping down as director of H20, and that Emmie
Hutchison will be taking over the role as director.

Dear Friends of H2O,

Word may have reached some of you about my retirement. I am officially leaving my position with the City of Lakewood/Division of Youth on December 31st. The New Year will herald many exciting changes for H2O. Emmie Hutchison will be taking over as the leader of the program. Emmie has spent the past year "learning the ropes" and is poised to work with student members and a new adult advisory council to take H2O forward into the future.

As Emmie moves up, her position as assistant coordinator is being filled on a part-time basis due to budgetary constraints facing the City. In order to attract the best candidates for the job, we are distributing this email alert about the job posting. The job title currently open is "Activities Coordinator, H2O Program - Part-Time"
The listing is scheduled to be posted today through December 9th.

As you can imagine, after serving eighteen years with wonderful youth and adult members of our community, I'm caught off-guard by my emotional response to leaving. I can't wait to spend more time with my husband, kids and grandchildren, but will miss my H2O "family". Thank you all for taking such good care of me, our community and each other.
