MEDICAL STUDENTS TO PRESENT “DOC OPERA” IN LAKEWOOD DECEMBER 10
27th Annual Case Western Reserve Variety Show Benefits Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland

Why: The future physicians will present DocOpera 2011: Hogwarts School of Medicine.
Doc Opera is a student-run variety show that comprises videotaped skits, musical performances, and parodied songs and dances about medical school and the medical community. Each year, the show is written, directed, and performed by medical students (as well as some faculty).
Some highlights from this year’s show include the faculty dance, “My Epi Pen” (to the tune of “It’s Raining Men”), “The Way You Make Me Heal” (to Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”), and “Neurosyphilis” (to the cult classic “Time Warp”). A dessert reception will follow the performance.
The entire production benefits the Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for students and individuals ages 7-17, and free for children age 6 and under. For more information: http://casemed.case.edu/docopera/.
