I'm sorry, fellow Observers, to use this board for personal reasons but in this case, I cannot think of any other way to contact my son and oldest daughter. A few years ago, both my son and daughter ceased to communicate with me. I really don't understand why after all this time. I did not "genetically pass down" any illness, tho' maybe they think that is fact. It is not. They are from my first marriage, but they are still my "kids". I still love them and care for them, and this Thanksgiving Day, I thank God for them. They truly were the product of love at the time. They're both grown, my daughter has her own family, but I have no idea of the status of either of them over the last few years.
I can only hope that at some point, while searching the web, they might see this, and contact me by any means they see fit. They're half-sister is growing fast, and she could use "family".
Thank you for tolerating this use of the board, but maybe you might understand why I would like my son and daughter to phone me, at least.

Hi Mark,
I'm not sure how the Deck shows up on the web. Maybe it would work better if you used your name in the title of the thread?
I think the Deck is here to help any of us to connect to each other in any way we need. Good luck to you.

Re: A Personal Plea to My Son and Oldest Daughter, Mark and
To answer a couple of questions, no, I have not heard from either of them.
I'll continue to try to make contact in the normal ways.
