Library Sculpture Installed and Unveiled!

It's here. It arrived in a couple of pieces, and was lowered into place with a crane, with the artist, Peter Diepenbrock lovingly rushing around with a hammer and a sander and a whole crew to make sure it was perfectly placed.

Job well done. Industrial artist Peter Diepenbrock looks at his finished installation at the
Lakewood Public Library. The smile was huge on Peter's face.

Back at the library tonight, the sculpture was beautiful. My daughter, who seemed to have dressed to go with the surroundings tonight, loves it, she thinks it looks like a mermaid disappearing in a splash.
