Yes, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun.

Did you hear the one about the two Ward 2 residents that walked into a bar?

Steve - Fun is good! And this thread has been somewhat fun. It just reminded me of something I was thinking a couple years ago. Are we really one Lakewood as the City’s website address implies or are there many Lakewoods within our borders?

No, as a matter of fact I haven’t heard many Lakewood jokes let alone Ward jokes. I could use a good laugh. Lately, I’ve been relying on the Bad Lip-reading of Michele Bachman to provide some humor but I don’t want to change the subject. Let's hear it. :)

Charlie,

There could be anywhere from 1 to over 50,000 Lakewoods at any time.

I'm good with any of those numbers, as long as it's just not 2 Lakewoods.

This has got to be the ultimate segue, convergence of taking a fishing story, floating a Borscht Belt joke opener, and taking this down to Lakewood----- hee hee

We're talking technical brilliance here, unless Steve just didn't have any jokes at all to begin with!

One hears from time to time, usually under dimly lit surroundings, talk of a petition

to rename ward one as the " Emerald City, " is this the ramp-up ?
