Ward 1 Really Lakewood's Best Ward? Ivor And David Think So!

Ivor Karabatkovic show off his 28" Steelhead Trout, caught at the mouth of the Rocky River,
in The Emerald Canyon, as Ward One Lakewood Concilman David Anderson looks on. Ivor
and David were talking about that if Lakewood is really one of the "10 Coolest Places To Visit
in America" and "The Best Subrub In Cuyahoga County," then surely Ward One, with the
Emerald Canyon, and the Emerald Canyone Historic District, The Georgetown Area,
Lakewood's Port Authority, some of the finest restaurants, clubs, and beach front property
and best sport fishing in the city, is the best ward To live in. I said, best sunsets too!

Love Ward 1....it's also home to the Dog Park and Animal Shelter.

All the wards are great, but The Deuce is pretty cool.
We have the most of Lakewood Park, the Library, outstanding schools and a lot of great homes and businesses. Most importantly, we are home to LO World HQ....where all the magic happens!

really now we have to compete between wards within the city? I don't even know what ward I'm in but mine is certainly the best.....so there.

Here's the place where we can all start telling our favorite Ward 2 jokes.

Those always crack me up.

.
Nothin' shakin' on Shakedown Street.
Used to be the heart of town.
Don't tell me this town ain't got no heart.
You just gotta poke around.

How many Ward 2 Councilman does it take to screw in a light bulb?

If you don't know that would indicate either Ward 2 or 3.

Everyone else knows who their council person is.

we thought about buying a house in ward one, but the noise from the dog park was too loud. I also didn't like the prospect of living in the same ward as a McDonalds.

besides, it's ward two that's the best... we get the 4th of July parade, the art festival and do I even need to mention that it's the home of the Lakewood Observer World Headquarters.

Isn't 90% of Lakewood technically blighted (even if it isn't declared)??

Roy

I think it was 94%.

If I remember correctly all but 45 homes.
