New wildlife pond at Lakewood Park

Post by Betsy Voinovich »

We went to visit the new wildlife pond at Lakewood Park this morning. It was overflowing with geese and though there were several indigenous black Lakewood squirrels hanging from the tree branches we were unable to capture them on film.

It looked like the geese were going after worms, as if they were robins.

Downtown was barely there. Like a modern painting of grays. If you look really close on the left, you can see the yellow lights shining from the Browns Stadium. I used to like watching them play in the rain, the mud would turn them all into cavemen, and make the ball slippery; now that's football. But I digress.
