Anyone hear any further details regarding the article in Scene magazine. Apparently a woman in Lakewood had her collection of guns taken by the Lakewood Police without so much as a search warrant?

On the surface, it looks like a pretty bad breach of constitutional rights, but I don't exactly trust Scene magazine as having the whole story.
just looking for further information.

Re: Gun Confiscation
There was definitely more to the story than what the scene published.
From my understanding, which may not be 100% correct, she was admitted either voluntarily or involuntarily at a VA mental hospital. I guess the police records show she was listed as a missing person because she left the facility without an official release so they went to her home to try to find her where they found the weapons. I guess the state laws are that if you are admitted at a mental hospital you give up your rights to have guns, but I guess it is up to interpretation.
The judge sided with her from the public records I have seen on other lakewood sites. I am not sure if it will be appealed or if they will just give the weapons back. I sure hope the gal is better.
