When did we get Ice Cream Trucks?

Post by Missy Limkemann »

I didn't know Lakewood had Ice Cream Trucks? I thought that was a big "no-no." Well we just had one go up our street. My kids are dying now and of course want ice cream from the truck. (my mom's neighborhood has trucks so "gigi" always gets the grandbabies ice cream)

Well when we heard the ice cream truck on Tuesday the adults went running faster than the kids. We were so excited we were OK with paying $2.75 for a snowcone! Halfway through the line two cop cars pulled up behind the truck. When they realized we weren't moving out of line till we got our ice cream the one cop just shook his head at me lol; The driver had just stated he would be there daily before the cops showed up and cited him so I guess it was a fleeting moment. The good news is our goods did not get confiscated.
