Tonight I learned that Bruce Beebe, Schoolboard Member Lind Beebe's husband has
passed away.
Bruce has been in the hospital since he fell almost two months ago. Last night Matt Markling
visited Bruce with his son Declan, and found Bruce to be lucid and awake.
Bruce had been one of my teachers back in school, and Bruce and Linda were both part of
my life, and the lives of hundreds if not thousand of Lakewood students and families.
Please keep the Beebe family in your thoughts and prayers.

Re: Thoughts and Prayers with the Beebe Family
The loss of Bruce Beebe is a sad day for Lakewood. Our kids always commented how they enjoyed his classes. Although never one of his students, I can say that any of my conversations with Bruce was a learning experience. I was alway impressed with his knowledge. Even in a casual chat, I would come away having learned something. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Beebe family.

I am glad that my oldest son and I had the opportunity to visit with Dr. Bruce T. Beebe before he passed. The Markling Boys (and Katie) always enjoyed visiting with Bruce and Linda.
Linda asked me to invite everyone on the Deck to attend Bruce’s memorial service and share your favorite Bruce Beebe story at the West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church, 20401 Hilliard, on Sunday, June 5, 2011, at 1:30 p.m.
