Here is the latest Lakewood Observer, Volume 7 Issue 10. I as always would like to thanks those
that have helped put this together. Not just this issue but for all of the issues and all of the time
since this project started over 8 years ago.

As the Spring and Summer season kicks off, I am happy to announce that the city that
seems very deep in public and civic volunteers continues to grow with events, projects
and ideas that are growing organically throughout the community. This is great news, as
slow solid organic growth is a sign of sustainable growth. Sustainable growth is
dependable growth, and as this city and region come to grips with the economy, the
downsizing of our anchor city Cleveland, and the seeming failures of the regional dreams
and promises, it will be increasingly important to have these dependable and sustainable
projects here in town, run by those here in town that have care and love for this city deep
in their hearts. Believe me, it is one thing we can bank on in our future.

Here in Lakewood, it is easy to understand; our sustainability as a city is based on how
well we can empower, engage, and ultimately serve this community either individually or
collectively. In 2011, it would seem that the business community, and most of the
non-profits have rallied behind the LO Project, and the Observer projects in other
communities that are allowing us to grow, and put down more roots to continue the work
and project in new ways, in new communities that have things to teach us as well.

LOVE, RESPECT, HONESTY, EMPOWERMENT, VOLUNTEERISM, AWARENESS, LIVABILITY, SUSTAINABILITY
these are key qualities in the city I so dearly love, that inspired this project in the first
place, and are now being shared with our neighbors in the greater region around us.

This spring and summer, take part in the events, walk the streets, volunteer, and enjoy
one of the finest cities I have ever had the pleasure of living, working or even visiting in.
Lakewood, Ohio.

PEACE

.
