The steel arrives and stands in silence.

Mayor Mike Summers talks with Channel 5. It was great seeing so much coverage of this
event. Good news amplified is always good. I have to give credit to Mayor Summers
who preferred to stay in the background and give Fire and Police their moment to shine.

Over 100 photos and video, plus an incredible interview from Ground Zero to follow.

A 4' x 8' poster I created two weeks after 9/11 that was sent to Lakewood Station 1,
Cleveland Fire Station 1, and 2 laminated and mounted versions sent NY Fire Department,
which put one at Ground Zero for nearly a year.

Today at the ceremony, many could not believe that after 8+ years and many many months
of trying to arrange this. Lakewood would be loading our beams onto a flatbed the same day
the Navy Seals found Usama Bin Ladin and killed him.
