Parking by Lakewood Hospital now a private lot?

Ok, so who is Grace Hospital and why have they taken over an entire public parking lot? Today I had to go to the medical arts building attached to Lakewood Hospital and wanted to park in the big lot (behind the bagel place) and there were covers over every meter that said "private parking" and then a huge sign that said Grace Hospital Parking Only, Permits Required. Had I thought about it I would have taken a picture but I was so upset over it, I honestly forgot.

So why is this entire Public lot now private? Where are we supposed to park now? I didnt want to be in the garage. The cost is more for the garage than the meter. And should we be concerned that there is a sign that says Grace Hospital by Lakewood Hospital?

Looks like they are actually loosely affiliated with Lakewood Hospital as a place for longer term patients to stay but still be near the Lakewood Hospital building.

I just saw you are saying that the meters are covered over and it's now a permit lot. Dang.

I too hate parking in the garage. The construction in there never ends and it's tight and scary with a lot of elderly drivers in large cars.

I could be mistaken but hasn't it been a private lot for awhile now? Still though I hate the medical building lot, I drive all the way up to the top whenever I go there, which is far too often.
