I was wondering....

Post by Mary Ellen Facemire »

If there are any residents of Birdtown on this forum? I'm just curiosu to see if any of my neighbors are present. I also, to be honest, have no idea who my council person is, etc. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance everyone!

Mary Ellen---- Your representative for Ward 4 is Mary Louise Madigan who is also Council President. For your information the borderline between Wards 4 and 3 is Clarence Avenue and then Nicholson all the way to the Lake. Ward 4 is probably the most diverse Ward ranging from Birdtown to the Gold Coast.
Way back in the day when I was a candidate for council I have fond memories of going door to door on the weekends and smelling all the wonderful aromas from the cooking! And, for a young hippie type, I was most proud to come in first and second out of six in both of the Birdtown precincts.
