Early call stated that the Dogs in the park ordinance is now law!

Thank you council.

Still just in Lakewood and Kauffman parks?

This is good to hear, since our current mayor and council president both voted against the original ordinance.
Be the change you want to see in the world.

As somebody who is in search of a new dog, I like it. Howver, it is only as successful as dog owners are responsible. So far, I think they have been so.

I am pretty happy with this. Both parks are a drive for me, but I am happy. I have been trying to get my new puppy out to the park but he is so interested in the squirrels we never really go anywhere. LOL. I just stand by my car and he watches the world go by. (silly pup)

Once the weather gets warmer, I do plan on taking more fosters to the park. Better socialization and we can work on leash training.

Ed...I have puppies!!!! And more coming in......

Missy: We're looking to adopt a lab in need of a home. We're on the lab rescue lists. They did the background checks and we're just waiting for the right dog.
