T2P2 hosts its first dinner of 2011 on Wednesday

T2P2 hosts its first dinner of 2011 on Wednesday, February 23rd at 56 West from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

T2P2 is a group of women making a difference in Cleveland! T2P2 (Towers of Tampons and Pyramids of Pads) was created to help women, right in our own community, who are less fortunate.  One thing that we discovered was that women are unable to buy, what we refer to as "unmentionables" with their food stamps.  These "unmentionables," also known as tampons and pads, are a necessary item that can become quite expensive.  SO, every six weeks, our group gathers at a locally owned restaurant, and collects these items which are then donated to a local women's shelter.  Dinner is $20 and this month, 56 West has agreed to host our event.  You must pre-register because space is limited.  You can register by emailing us at <t2p2rocks@yahoo.com>t2p2rocks@yahoo.com for more information.  In addition to the cost of dinner, we ask everyone attending to contribute boxes of pads and/or tampons, or both, which will be donated this month to North Coast Health Ministry in Lakewood.
