Best Christmas Present!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

To all received many fun things but nothing topped this in our house!

Look at he excitement on Deb's face when Hoover actually used his skateboard.
It was pretty amazing how quickly he picked it up, even let it roll with feet up!

A proud 4-year-old with this first skateboard. "Hey take that out side!"

Have some precious holiday moments, please share...

Looking at Hoover I'm wondering whether Santa should have gotten JJ a skateboard--- what a great idea!!-and then immediately was glad he didn't bring one for J-- she'd be riding it in the house on her stomach too---

Here's what JJ's identified as the best Christmas present so far-- Playmobile acrobats that ride across a highwire and link arms and swing with each other. And the Dora hat. Might update later as we find our way through the living room.

We ordered a hand made cornhole set for my mother in law -painted half in Italian flag colors and half in Irish to represent both sides in his family and then found out she just bought a Brown's cornhole set for herself! So our most used Christmas gift is this cornhole in our living and dining rooms that we play indoor lol.

Hoover's first time ever on a board! Took off, later in the day he was rolling
down the hall way. Working on the video.

I have to say my new vacuum is probably one of my favorite gifts ever. That sounds quite domestic but with animals and kids a good vacuum makes life much simpler.

As for an intangible gift, I was happy to have my mom around for Christmas, last year when she was fighting cancer over the holiday season I wondered if that would be the last but she is still around and pretty darn healthy.
