Missy Limkemann wrote:These are great!!! Thank you for sharing. You know, I have been tossing around the idea of getting a new camera and starting to take pictures. I am lost at what to get. I want it to be good, but on the cheap side since I am just starting out. Any ideas?
MissyThese were taken with a camera you can buy today for under $100, using a lens that
is 30 years old, and has no auto anything. Manual focus, exposure, f stops, etc.
While the new Nikon 7 series is great, for most it is overkill.
Best Buys and Amazon have Lumix(Panasonic) Cameras that feature a Zeiss Ikon lens.
These are some of the finest optics in the world. Fits in your pocket, does 14 mega pixels,
10X optical zoom, and video. Takes impressive photos. NOT ALL HAVE ZEISS LENS, you
want the one with ZEISS lens!
Better in the long run for most than a Digital DSL.
Cost is $329.00 new!
A quote from one of my favorite photographers Ivor Karabatkovic
Buying a Cannon doesn't make you a photographer. It makes you a Cannon owner. Ed FitzGerald
Does this mean I am bumping Ivor off the desktop! I believe that the best photographs are the ones that are shared.
Thank you for asking.
Sure.
Ed FavreMarkling saved my life carrying me back over that ice covered pier.
You would have been proud of him. Then he grilled out!
Thank you for risking possible probation.
