I just learned that Lakewood Observer writer, and one of the founders of the LO Kids
Page, John Kompier won the Spelling Bee last night taking yet more honors back to
Grant School.
I love it when a plan works, and John's idea for a Kids Page, was also shared by other
students. I think with our school and libraries teaching our children to spell, read, write,
add goes a going way to make this city better for all of us.
Thanks Jim Crawford, everyone at the library and all of the kids that took part.
.
Congratulations John From Grant School!
