AN EVENING WITH AUTHOR, LISA BLACK
LAKEWOOD, OH - Take a step back in time with author Lisa Black to The Great Depression when the infamous Torso Killer ran rampant on the streets of Cleveland, killing and dismembering his victims. Black will discuss her novels, including her newest novel, “Trail of Blood,” at our crime scene from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 at The Lake Erie Building, 13000 Athens Ave.
“Our Evening with Lisa Black is such a great opportunity for an intimate interaction with an author,” said Lynn Foran, President of the Lakewood Public Library Foundation. “It’s great that she’s returning to her hometown of Cleveland to share her thoughts on this novel of investigation and suspense.”
Black will answer questions, sign books, mingle and discuss her novel, some of which is based on her experience working right here in Cleveland at the Coroner’s Office. “The fact that all of Ms. Black’s novels take place in the Cleveland area adds an extra bit of appeal to avid Cleveland mystery lovers,” says Lori Uldricks, Event Chair. She adds, “We are fortunate to be able to host this event at some of the
locations mentioned in Ms. Black’s novels.”
Tickets for the main event are $35 and include hors d’oeuvres, a talk by Ms. Black, book sales and signings. VIP tickets are $100 each and in addition include joining Ms. Black at Pier W for an intimate VIP dinner after the author talk.
