Where's the best place to watch the fireworks other than the park?

Kevin
Many of the parking lots north of Detroit around Belle - Gladys.
LCA, Webb Park, Any Gold Coast building, INA Building 5th floor or higher.

Re: Fireworks
The parking deck between St. Charles and Bell allows people in to view the fireworks from the roof.

Carlyle, yes.
Winton Place, no.
Meridian, no.
Carlyle obscures the park, though you can see fireworks from a wide variety of other cities.

Re: Fireworks
Help me out here.
Last night I saw fireworks straight ahead, looking down Detroit. There were also fireworks that were in the direction of Madison to the east. And, as expected, I saw the Edgewater display. I want to know who the other two communities were.
It was fun watching all three. Still wish I was mobile enough to go sit in Strommens front yard like I always used to.

Re: Fireworks
Found this out completely by accident while out walking last evening, but the parking lot at John's Diner has clear view of most of the fireworks show. Something to keep in mind for next year, maybe!
