Lakewood Schools owed $5 million in back property taxes

According to a report by treasurer Rick Berdine, uncollected taxes for schools rose from $3.8 million in 2009 to $5.4 million at the close of the 2009 collections. Berdine said Monday that new figures to be released next month should show a slight drop in delinquencies, but that it would likely still be more than $5 million.


How much of that is some of the retail space vs homeowners I wonder?
