Clifton Boulevard To Be Reconfigured
Dormant plans to restore Clifton Boulevard are back on track:

I suppose the battle lines will be drawn between those who desire a more liveable City and those who desire a faster commute through the City.
Are you willing to give up five minutes of your time?

Did anyone attend the first public meeting? This website seems to be under construction and provides little to no information.

Imagine that.
Personally, I prefer a more grandoise project and linkage with the Euclid Corridor Project. The Euclid Corridor Project did a lot of damage to Euclid Avenue and downtown in general but extending the line to Lakewood would help to repair the damage.
There is a rumor that current plans for Clifton envision Clifton busses unloading people at the W110th rapid station so they can wait for the train so they can continue their journey downtown.
It wouldn't surprise me that urban planners can be that dumb but it would dissapoint me.

This is a picture of one of the possibilities.

It would be a shame if they put thoes stupid bus lane things in the middle with the confusing traffic patterns and frankley deaths waiting to happen. Just my thought at the moment.

Well it seems this is being done from stimulus funds that were granted specifically for the project, so I guess I am OK with it. On a side note, this seems like it would make Clifton look "nicer" but not sure how it makes things more livable...Clifton is a pretty nice road. If you really want to make things more "livable" in Lakewood, get money and pave all of our horrible side streets. I know Lakewood has been doing some streets but there is still too many horrible ones. One thing you'll always here from people is "Lakewood is horrible to drive in"

I certainly hope that RTA doesn't have any involvement in any reconfiguration without proper engineering, safety, community standards, and overall adult and common sense standards supervision.

I received this notice from the city. Apparently that website doesn't even have the meeting dates correct.
