Goose - Wildlife Question

Does anyone know where you can access a database for the numbers geese wear on their
necks and ankles?

Looked everywhere on the net, got no answer at the ranger station. Just curious where some
of these geese are coming from.

The mystery grows!

I called and spoke with a pleasant person, that wants to know kind of bird. I told him, and read him the number
and he said, "We do not use letters sir." Then I mentioned it was a neck band, and he commented that they do
not use those either. I have seen online that the Mississippi Flyway uses ornage neck bands, but not white.

This should be like http://wheresGeorge.Com enter a number and find out everything you need to know about
this bird.

While their site for this it is currently down, it does not still contain letter and number categories.

it appears this is from Canada...

it says that is uses different codes with Letters and Numbers ...

Jim, you didn't hear this from me, but I have a friend, who knows this guy, that has a cousin who works in the department of defense. rumor has it that ever since the incident in NY (miracle on the hudson) the Department of Homeland Security has been experimenting with a new tactical air defense system.

Apparently, in the event that a civilian aircraft is hijacked and becomes a threat to any of our northern cities, the collar becomes active and the birds will fly up, intercept the airplane, fly into the engines and force the plane to the ground.

Results so far are mixed, but its a heck of a lot cheaper than scrambling a wing of conventional fighter aircraft.
