Re: All Dogs Heaven/Helping Missy
Let me first say I am sad that this did not happen but I am so happy that I had ya'll to help. The support means a lot. I am sorry that I was not able to do more, I have been so busy with the dogs and then my youngest son came down with the flu that turned into mono and then pneumonia. Needless to say I have been swamped.
BUT being the girl that I am...I am getting this dog tomorrow. I am hoping this will help motivate us again.
I warn you the one picture on this link is GRAPHIC!!!! Please if you have a weak heart/stomach do not look at the pictures. (for those that do not want to look at the picture please know that this dog will be taken care of and his wounds will heal with me. his collar was beyond embedded in him. he will be safe, he will be here tomorrow and he will have the best care!!!)

I also have a puppy that was dumped on the side of the road and he is very young, a 10 year old bichon, a 5 year old shih-tzu that just came to me as an owner surrender (as a favor for a friend), the fear pooping boston terrier, and the fear nipper rat terrier mix.

Missy
Well everyone did not give up.
Do not fret.
I will finish the bagging today.
It will be done and on the street.

Re: All Dogs Heaven/Helping Missy
My dog biscuit story....
I recently have taken a new position that requires a lot of hours so as we adjust to babysitting, household chores being divided a bit etc. I see the post about the biscuits and the money helping Missy. Not being one to say no I offer to help ( Not thinking about the fact that I have very little time in my day as it is ) Well, we were down to the wire for the deadline, I had all the ingredients...the cookie cutters etc. and oops, I have to go to work. My daughter and sitter however, are in my kitchen. Hmmmm....Well my sitter agrees to make them for me. Fast forward 2 hours later and I get called out of a meeting because my sitter is on the phone. My heart stops since she has NEVER called me at work. Her question??? "Did you leave out an ingredient because Sarah and I keep tasting them and they are really bad."
I laughed so hard and explained that they were for dogs, not people.
They finished up bagged and boxed for me as well. Thanks to both of them and I really hope these do get sold....quickly!

Jennifer...hil-a-ri-ous.
Hey, we are more then half way there!
I can send something out on email and Facebook if we have some to sell now and then go retail after the holiday. I know many that will buy some just to start and I can deliver them as well.
Great last minute gift idea!
Jim let me know (because I think you physically have them) and a good price we could sell the ones we have. Don't make me say it...Yes, we can

Re: All Dogs Heaven/Helping Missy
I hope you do this Jimmy. You know I wasted two days chasing you. With my energy levels it just ended up frustrating me and making me angry.
Missy, I'm sorry, I really tried. I'm the woman who says she's going to do something and then does.
The first time, I showed up at Jimmy's office, after going to the wrong one. I waited for over an hour for Jimmy. He kept calling and saying it wouldn't be much longer. I finally went and had lunch (I'm diabetic and had to do it). I called Jimmy.
"I'm on my way, I'll be there in about 20 minutes". I called back, he's still downtown. Almost 3 hours at this point. I went home. This is too much for me. My health isn't good and I was pushing it.
I made arrangements with him to be there on Thursday (the above was Tuesday). He said he was going to have people in but I could do them upstairs, that he would get the labels out of his car and put the materials upstairs. I called to see if he did this, no answer on either phone and of course no way to leave a message. I called a half an hour later, no answer and no way to leave a message.
When I said on the deck that he didn't answer, he posted that he thought I was coming no matter what and he had people to help me. Why would I have spent money that I don't have, yes my income is that low that the parking money starts to add up for me, just to find out that once again, not all the materials were there and ready?
My question to you, Jimmy, is if you had people there to help me, why didn't they just bag them up? It's only a job for a couple of hours, am I that essential.
I tried people I certainly did, but I know when I'm beat. I' don't have the physical and emotional resouces to deal with all that. Too much.

Bumping this!
How are we doing on supply out there? Do we need to bake more and get more out on the street for sale? I can bake some this time. I bought quite a few over Xmas at Rozi's. So glad we got this to happen!
