I seem to remember that there was a request made for a candidates forum and I see there is one.
I just looked at it and the only replies to the questions posted are the ones that Jim DeVito moved from another thread. There are two more posts on there, one from this past Thursday.
Is the one who brought it up and wanted it so badly unavailable?
Is the one who implied that other candidates were ducking the public, or feared real dialogue, also unavailable?
Will these questions be answered? Is a mystery.

They guy who ended up with the second most votes in the primary doesn't have a website. I am thinking people are not much for going online th research candidates, which says more about the voters being uninterested, unfortunately.

If it doesn't come up on the first 5 pages of results for "Brian Powers Lakewood Council" then he may as well not have a website at all.

I amended my blog with his website. I looked for it before the primary, didn't find it unfortunately.
I haven't been able to find a media site that just had links to them all...

OK
So hear is the question.
Do Lakewoodites want to hear from the candidates, or are we all going to vote
for what the brochure says or does not say.
The Lakewood Observer has created a "safe post zone" where it is moderated, and
safe for candidates ONLY to post. Some very reasonable vetted questions have been
asked,an only Nickie Anotonio came in, and she only answered the questions of
another elected officials.
Why are they hiding?
Do they not work for all of us?
The Lakewood Observer gave them space for their words, now there is no respect for
the award winning non-agenda driven public space, run by thousands of Lakewood
residents, and voters, and underwritten by Lakewood Businesses?
I guess the secret is, run an election in secret.
