Just a quick experiment...
Since I have been deemed a "thread killer" on numerous accounts, I was just looking to try something out...

the dog park, setting for many yell and yap for small dogs intent on challenging their larger companions as their well dressed owners who take fleeting glances at the opposite sex holding tightly to the leash in fear of wondering noses and assorted nips as they too look sideways in hopes of being noticed, the closed sign went up as the result of a lawsuit of a not so friendly neighbor.

a REAL long accordion type bus trundled down Detroit Avenue. When it reached the Detroit/Riverway turnaround a lone passenger departed, $2.25 poorer than when he got on. As for the bus----it's still there right now. It's too long to turn around. Go check it out!!!!!!

and Missy was once again outside walking her numerous dogs wondering why she chose this profession and if the cops were once again going to stop her with Batman.

there exists a town that draws people from all areas of the country and the world, a town that truly is representative of the real world. And that town found magical ways to stand afloat during very dark days around the country. While other areas are dying slow and painful deaths, this magical town of Lakewood has excellent schools, in spite of the fact that it has one of the highest non-English speaking communities and all households are not wealthy. This town has also created an award winning library that opens its doors to the peasants and the princes and princesses of the town equally. While other towns have sustained themselves with big companies who now may drag those very towns down, this Lakewood town sustained itself with unique small businesses and a community who all come together to make their own magic instead of planting magic beans.
A town of visionaries who created the first Oberver in the area with sole purpose of community involvement and bettering Lakewood, knowing that the dark days were ahead for this country.
A town that sits on the lake that was formed from the Ice Age that covered this land long ago. A town of survival and magic......
