Will Reality follow fiction? Can Al Franken Save us?

Post by Donald Farris »

Hi,
One of the of the funniest book's I have read was "Why not me?" by Al Franken. See: http://www.librarything.com/work/27238/details/

In the book Al campaigned for fighting banks and their high ATM fees. Al didn't win the Presidency so today we all blindly accept high ATM fees.

Now, Al Franken is a Senator and I saw this article: Banks make $38bn from overdraft fees.

So, now is the time for Al Franken to take on this abuse by US Banks to soak the people that saved them. Here's an exciting case for reality to follow fiction.
Mankind must put an end to war or
war will put an end to mankind.

Stability and peace in our land will not come from the barrel of a gun, because peace without justice is an impossibility.

One thing this year's credit card reform has shown me, it's that if you shut down one revenue stream for a bank, they're pretty shameless about finding some other equally bogus reason to charge you out the wazoo.

Or...
perhaps people can be a little more responsible by spending the money they have, not running up debt and keep a little better track of their finances.

I am that good.
I am that smart.
But do people really like me?
