If you're worried about dogs in parks...

Post by Brad Hutchison »

...go to a Wade Oval Wednesday event this summer. Lots of people, families and children, dogs on leashes... nobody barking, nobody crying, nobody biting anyone else, no piles of dog crap everywhere, just lots of people having a good time. Children politely asking permission to pet the dogs, families spread out on the grass, music and food.

It was a blast, and a good, relevant case study for dogs in parks, especially during large events, which was one of the specific concerns some people had at the Public Safety meeting. I urge everyone who's concerned to please go and see.
Be the change you want to see in the world.

Plus at Wade Oval, armed robbery is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. I'm all for dogs in the parks, but opposed to dogs carrying guns, of course. ;)
