Do you know these dogs?

These dogs were going on walkabout down Clarence Avenue up from Detroit to Franklin. Not sure where they live. One has a pink collar and the other did not have any collar. Both are females. The mix is missing part of her left ear.

If you know these dogs, please PM me so I can get them home. I can't keep them so I will need to take them down to the Lakewood Shelter.

Update:

The owner has been found- they live on Alameda, so the dogs traveled quite a few blocks before I caught them. I had left a message with the animal shelter this morning and she called there looking for them. Her kids had not realized the dogs had gotten out until this afternoon and they've been on bikes looking for the dogs.

The Boston terrier is the mom and the larger mix is the baby, apparently. People please make sure your pets have up to date tags or tags at all.... and please also spay and neuter your pets.

Somewhere, there is a connection between Valerie's efforts here (as well as Missy Linkerman's) and the "Otis" saga.
What those correlations are, I don't know at the moment. But, it is certainly part of a larger conversation.

Thanks for helping!!! Am I wearing off on you. Wish I could have talked to you more but my father was in town and we were heading up to the islands. (dad is from Florida) My husband looked at me after we spoke and said "Seriously, where will you put them? On the roof because I think that is our only option at this point, you are full!!!" It was funny.
Hopefully *wishful thinking I know* these people put the collars and tags on the dog and make sure they don't get out again. Because we all know "dogs never get out"...(sorry had to say it....I am snarky today)

You know what really sucks? Sometime in mid July, I was walking up my street about to start my morning run when this giant Weimeraner goes lumbering past me on the opposite side of the street. I was waiting to see someone with him following and no one was there.. I realized he was probably on an unsanctioned run.

I was considering what to do next as I didnt have a phone or a leash on me when this car comes around the corner and stops. He asked if it was my dog because he almost hit him crossing the street a block up. I say no, and the guy continues to follow the dog and I turn around and take off running after the dog on foot.

By the time I get to Nicholson and Detroit, I see neither the dog nor the guy in the car. Another woman is walking her dog and I ask if SHE saw them. She tells me that the guy got the dog into his car (a small siver compact car), no small feat considering the size of this dog. So I think this is a good thing as I could not catch him and at least the dog has a chance of getting returned.

My sister sent me a Craigslist posting yesterday http://cleveland.craigslist.org/laf/1294968857.html that this dog has been missing. It was the dog I saw- she remembered me telling her about it because it was early morning and it was like a scene out of a Fellini film or something with this giant dog running and two people chasing him.

Unfortunately, it seems that he was not returned. I spoke to the owner this morning to tell him what I saw and he is sick with worry. The dog had tags but one phone # on it was no longer connected. The other # was valid. The dog is chipped however, so hopefully, something will come up.

Anyway, if any of you see this dog- the guy I saw who picked him up was white, younger, had a scruffy beard and drove a silver compact- please try to get him back to his rightful owner.
