Ideas to replace IHOP?

Post by Kate McCarthy »

Now that IHOP appears to be gone, what would you like to see in its place? It's a new buildling, with plenty of parking. Seems to me a lot of businesses would do quite well in that location.

Hot Sauce Williams

Since the closing of Chicken and Ribs Galore there has been no place to get good ribs
in town.

Tired of driving over to 85th and Carnegie, or E116th St. Baptist Church on Sunday.

Can taste the sweet potato pie, ribs and maybe a wing fest right now.

Well since the owher of Krazy Mac is looking for another place in Lakewood to open, why not open in the IHOP space?
You know what would be awesome is a Sonic. My mom just told me that there is a Sonic opening up in Parma. Last time I had Sonic was when I was in Florida...seems kind far to drive (fly) for a Sonic Burger.

The rumors about Sonic are true. Snow & Broadview, September 1st. Great for my wife & I, we went to Sonic a lot in Des Moines...

Does that mean Krazy Mac is not going into the Hylander? Is that guy a spaz or what? He's all over the place... he closed his one in the Shoreway neighborhood because, so I heard, it was too busy, and to focus on his restaurant in Elyria, of all places, which he also closed.

Sonic has always baffled me... they've spent a fortune in advertising around here for years, even though for the longest time the only one in Ohio was down in Athens. The only other one I know of is in Streetsboro, open only for a year or two.
Be the change you want to see in the world.

Really? The only ads I've seen from Sonic have been on TV, from the national broadcast feeds...nothing local.
