Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope everything is ok.

Two months have passed since this was written. I marched in the parade for the Observer but didn't see a bar-b-que afterwards, unless you meant the Kiwanis. Did I miss something?

Maybe because you were looking for a bar-b-que and not a nar-b-que.

Brian is correct.
That set aside it was decided that the new publisher would tend to the Lakewood Observer,
walking and nar-b-quing and bar-b-quing. I am shocked to hear that there was nothing there!
I was at the launch of another Observer, with huge (n)bar-b-que

I will ask next time I speak with her.

So...you will ask my wife why there was no bbq after the parade and then get back to me? How about I ask her when she gets home?

Before this gets misunderstood....yes, Jim is the [former] publisher but I'm sure he is very busy with all his projects going on. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if this was coordinated without him having to do much except say that he'll attend.

I did not realize that Lon Chaney was a regular on the Abbott and Costello Show.

Jim,
He was in Abbott & Costello movies as well. Ironically, my three sons and I just watched him as The Wolf Man in Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein:

Not sure what a nar-b-que is. I did find a car-b-que
Maybe we can get some Chrylsers or GMs and pile them up in Lakewood Park.
