Jim -
I know I'm a bit more dense that most of the writers/readers here, but, did I miss a thread somewhere that discussed the reasons behind Mr. Warren's departure?
I thought he called an end to his amazing work here to pursue other interests - writing, travel, research, family. Am I wrong or does it seem as though some of your posts on this thread are suggesting that Ken was somehow shown the door? Now there's a post with a clip from The Caine Mutiny.
What am I missing?

WOW!
My bad!
Freudian slip!
Wrong thread!
I was thinking, how great it would be to see great books like the Cain Mutiny
in the Kenneth Warren Grand Reading Room. Who knows maybe as soon as they
sort out some things.
I meant...

Ken Warren with Stephen Calhoun, aka Dr. Puck, holding an inflatable bed similar to the
style and color chosen by the homeless vet. This was Ken's second trip ever to Walmart.
Dave, again, sorry for the confusion.

Re: Ken in photos.

After another night running around, checking out the "bad neighborhoods."
Ken loved checking into rough neighborhoods, as he knew these were the people
dealing with life on the edge. Heading home at 3 am we ran into Charles. Here
Ken talks with Charles about his choice of bus shelters to live in DowntowN and why.

Ken Warren with Steve Davis in what should be renamed as the Kenneth Warren
Grand Reading Room. Ken and Steve were very close. I believe, it was at this time
Ken started talking about some troubling "issues." he was worried would hurt the
library in the long run, I believe.

Lakewood's finest ambassador, at one time, Ken Warren gladly opens the
door to the new library to his family, friends, residents and patrons. Ken Warren
loved and understood this town better than any person I have met.

What exactly are you suggesting with this pic and verse? Or is this the wrong thread as well?

I know its Ken on the right, but who is the elderly woman on the left?
Knowing who it is might help in deciphering the code.

Ephesians 5:11-14
turn on the light already
but remember, there's at least two sides to every story
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible.

It would seem that most of the people involved are all telling the same story. That is
save for one, that has used every faux name in the book to attack the Lakewood Library,
Kenneth Warren, and The Lakewood Observer.
As we have identified that individual it is now just a case of watching them fry themselves.
How fitting, next up...
Conflict of interest?
