I've been working like crazy on articles about the military coup in Honduras, finally came up for air and wondered what all of you thought about it. July 1st, the ousted president returns with the world is behind him. Will Honduras arrest him as they have stated or let him resume the presidency?
I think this is a case where the ruling class of Honduras thought they had a moderate leader and he has been working with the poor and making friends with Socialist presidents like Chavez and Ortega and now they want him out. I wonder if Bush were still in office if the U.S. reaction would have been the same?
Seems like we fought for years with Ortega and now he is back in power and we are working with him.

Guess he has now put the return off until this weekend. In addition to the Presidents of Argentina and Ecuador the heads of the OAS and the U.N. General Assembly will now accompany him.
