The movie quote does not refer to the west of the United States. It refers to the west BEING the United States...from the perspective of a communist in the USSR.

Look for the movie, its hilarious. Its called One Two Three. It came out in 1961 and was directed by Billy Wilder.

Did you know that the recently House-passed Cap-and-Trade bill (HR2454) would put the entire United States on California's environmental standards?

Our Rep. Kucinich voted against it...before I start cheering let me point out that he did so because the bill doesn't go far enough.
