I'm assuming all you well-read people know about Stonewall.
That was the day, in a very clear voice, lgbt people said "Never again".
Sad thing is we are still saying it while our friends and families are attacked, most of us our considered lesser citizens and we are held in disdain by many of those who say they are from a religion of love.
I hope I live to see the day when this in a non-issue.
