Missy - Maybe you could have a fundraiser for ADH at the Observer party?

I'll get in the dumpster without any money (provided its clean). Its large enough, it could be fun going for a ride. :D

Although I am always for money that goes to a great cause. So therefore I may have to bow out me volenteering myself.

So what happened with this? Can we just pick a date and time everyone decides to meet in Lakewood Park. Have everyone bring something and maybe throw a short article in the Observer before it?

I think this is a great idea and I don’t want the summer to go by with out it happening. I’m not saying that it has to be right away, but we should figure out when to do it before its August and suddenly everyone is too busy preparing for the start of school or whatever.

Well the real question would be who is walking/parading with the Lakewood Observer
in the 4th of July Parade, with party to follow?

Bowling best served cold in the winter.

Ok, I can see July is becoming a problem for many, this is why I wanted to straitened this out before it got too late. Perhaps we should look in August so that there is enough time for people to set time aside.

Jim,

Could you maybe post more info as to when and where to meet for the parade and party?

parade is at the end of the parade, our normal spot as always, leaf right in front, Lakewood
Motoring Society behind, then crazy cops.

Those that will need an LO shirt just ask.

Everytime I wear my LO shirt, I think I cost the paper a half dozen readers and deflate advertising revenue.

I'm not sure if I'll make it to the parade or not, but I definitely need a shirt regardless...

I'm on the same page as Heather. I don't know if I will be in the parade, but I do need a shirt!

And sorry, I didn't quite understand what you meant. What lake and what other street is the group meeting before the start of the parade, and where in the park is the party to follow?

Usually the parade is so long that the LO crew is probably on Webb & Lake at the beginning.

If you have never marched in the parade, please consider it. It is an amazing experience!
