delete pm's?

Post by Justine Cooper »

l may be looking right at it and don't see it, but I can't figure out how to delete private messages. I have new ones I can't read until I delete old ones but for some reason don't see that button. Help!

Go to your PM homepage and you will see a little box at the end of the "line" (right side) check each box of the "line" you want to delete. Then scroll down the page and you will see a little drop down menu and when you click on that drop down you will see "delete marked" and click that and boom your pm's are gone.
I use a board just like this for my dog stuff ...LOL

Thank you! I didn't see the drop down menu! Now it tells me to release on hold messages but where might that button be to release them?

Ok that one I don't know. I have never put anything on hold or saved. If I wanted to save it I would copy it and post it to my regular email box and keep it there. Let me look around. LOL. sorry....

Check your in box. There should be an option to view messages with a "go" button next to it.

There's also an option to mark all messages as important or unimportant and then you can choose to delete all.

I guess the "box" puts them on hold if you have too many so I thought once I deleted a bunch they would pop up but somehow I have to do something. Oh new technology and old dogs don't mix!

Are you using the same theme that is on the Deck for people who are not signed in?

I made it so you can have 75 messages in your private message area, but really, they need to be deleted.

I will let everybody know when I start to delete the oldest messages so you all don't take up the whole server with messages...
