I know this is becoming common place here, but every morning I walk to
the Eastern rim of the Emerald Canyon, and look around. Today

As a kid, when most of the fish and wildlife had disappeared from the canyon
it was rare to see any Great Blue Heron. Now to see hawks, falcons, eagles,
turkey vultures and various herons, fishers, finches, wood peckers, owls,
etc. shows how well and area can come back.

Great Blue and Green Herons are a couple of my favorites.

Put the "[img]and[/img]" tags around the url to your image, less the quotes. The image has to be hosted someplace - not your local drive.

For example, if your image URL is:

Code: Select all

http://ChristopherBindel.com/images/pic1.jpg

then in the message text you would type:

Code: Select all

[img]http://ChristopherBindel.com/images/pic1.jpg[/img]

Right click on the image to copy the image address. Put that between the [img] tages. You had the page addresses in between the [img] tags. (Don't use the quotes!)

Cool foxes!

Oh, ok. I knew the first part but the URL's I had were not working. I forgot you could right click to get the location. Thanks for the help.

Anyways I saw the above foxes on a walk in Lakewood.

preferring to spend most of their time south of the Mason Dixon Line.

Our 4 year old African Spur Thighed Tortise. Many ask so here is the update. When
we bought "Hoover" he was the size of a silver dollar. In the past 4 years he has grown to
42lbs.! He will live to 86-100 years! These are things everyone should consider when buying a pet, obviously I did not.

Right now he loves dandelions, and cannot get enough. So there are upsides.

He's more than welcome to over to the Masters' house too, we've got a whole extra lot that is full of dandelions.

I'm glad you showed the eagle. I've told friends outside of Lakewood that I've seen a couple when I drive up Riverside drive. They sometimes just soar the air currents like the hawks.
