Dennis Kucinich's Solution To The Jewish Problem
It's seems the good congressman is upset that Israel is responding to 4,000 rocket attacks on Israel:
http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/kuc ... 12-29.html
He has no problem with Hamas killing Jews. In his sick mind the real crime is that the Jews defend themselves.
Only a few weeks after the election and our congressman is back to his old habits. Apparently his job is not to represent the people of his district but to represent ant-semitism. Did you know that or did it come as a surprise?
Jews, Jews, Jews... he is obsessed with the Jews.
Perhaps if the people of Lakewood started rocket attackes against Beachwood Kucinich would find some time for us...

This is an outrage. The point he was trying to make is 300+ dead, 1,400 wounded, only 60 considered to be from Hamas, compared to the 17 killed in Isreal, seems to be a little bit of over kill.
Why it would be like America killing 250,000+ in Iraq because of 911. Oh wait, maybe that is not a good analogy, as Iraq had NOTHING to do with 911. And Hamas did launch the missile strike.
Something has to be done, and I have no idea what. BUT...
FWIW

Why doesn't Michael Moore have to use his real name on this board?Jim O'Bryan wrote:Bill Call wrote:

ok
There are plenty of Jews in America. They are not an endangered ethnicity.
We should be no more involved than we were in the Cypress Civil War, Indonesia taking half of New Guinea, or the endless Sri Lanka civil war. For some reason those three get very little press.
Israel is a strategic liability.
I am under impression Arabs in Arab peninsula have emotions of Israel
the way conservative americans have emotions of Cuba, Affirmative
Action, or Gays.
The middle east is generally doomed. They've been agriculturally
advanced for thousands of years. Their 1920s population was much closer to what its plateau should have eventually reached. Their post 1920 population boom has outstripped advances in agriculture since 1920.
The Middle East is doomed when their revenue from exports of oil get too low, or when the world finds a viable alternative to oil.
Israel holds that oil hostage with their nuclear missiles and air force.
I am not against Israel hammering whatever cities they believe Hamas are in. but they should be doing this on their own, without U.S. backup.

Wake up Bill. Israel has been starving out the people of the Gaza Strip, building illegal settlements in the West Bank, are in violation of many U.N. resolutions and have killed numerous civilians leading up to the current situation. They bull doze people's homes, steal their land and make life pure hell for the Palestinians and their neighbors. Last year they made an illegal excursion into Lebanon and were handed their asses. While not right, the rocket attacks are in response to these inhumane actions. What do you expect the Hamas to do, let Israel kill them all off like we did to the indigenous people of North America?
The U.S. gives this rouge state $2.4 billion dollars a year in military aid and loans that at least twice that amount that they never repay.
Kucinich is correct that it's time to stop funding this terrorist state.

That is like using Dr. Goebbel's as a factual source for Nazi "Work Camps".

Who lives on the Gaza Strip?
Since the withdrawal of Israeli settlements, the Gazan population is almost entirely Palestinian Arab. More than 99 percent are Sunni Muslims, with a very small number of Christians. The region saw a huge influx of Palestinian refugees after the creation of Israel in 1948—within 20 years, the population of Gaza had grown to six times its previous size. The Gaza Strip now has one of the highest population densities in the world: Almost 1.5 million people live within its 146 square miles. Eighty percent of Gazans live below the poverty line.
Who built the fence between Gaza and Egypt? Who controls the border?
In 1979, Israel and Egypt signed a peace treaty that returned the Sinai Peninsula, which borders the Gaza Strip, to Egyptian control. As part of that treaty, a 100-meter-wide strip of land known as the Philadelphi corridor was established as a buffer zone between Gaza and Egypt. Israel built a barrier there during the Palestinian uprisings of the early 2000s. It's made mostly of corrugated sheet metal, with stretches of concrete topped with barbed wire.
In 2005, when Israel pulled out of the Gaza Strip, Israel and Egypt reached a military agreement regarding the border, based on the principles of the 1979 peace treaty. The agreement specified that 750 Egyptian border guards would be deployed along the length of the border, and both Egypt and Israel pledged to work together to stem terrorism, arms smuggling, and other illegal cross-border activities.
From November 2005 until July 2007, the Rafah Crossing—the only entry-exit point along the Gaza-Egypt border—was jointly controlled by Egypt and the Palestinian Authority, with the European Union monitoring Palestinian compliance on the Gaza side. After the Hamas takeover in June 2007, the European Union pulled out of the region, and Egypt agreed with Israel to shut down the Rafah Crossing, effectively sealing off the Gaza Strip on all sides.

That is the exact point I'm making. The numbers are propaganda and generated by the party that benefits from elevating these numbers. Have these numbers been confirmed by an unbiased third party...no. So their is no way to confirm their accuracy.
