Obama is no fool. He is not about to turn victory in Iraq into defeat. Some of his supporters like to think that Obama's Iraq policy was always to defeat the insurgency, support the democraticaly elected government and keep 50,000 American troops in Iraq for years. If they think that they are pulling their own legs.
The real irony of the campaign is that the current Obama Iraq policy is the same as the Bush Iraq policy and that the current Obama economic policy is the same as the Bush economic policy. I guess we really did get George Bush's third term.
