Veteran's Day It's more than a mattress sale

Sorry to see nobody poated anything about today's remeberance.

I got an email from a friend. Wanted to share:

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Veterans Day and request we all spend a little time thinking about all those Men and Women who gave their lives to keep us safe in the Greatest Country in the World! This will always be an important day in my life. Please also think about a Navy Airman (Bill *****) who gave his life doing what I did and in a sense, saved the life of my best friend John *****. He took a flight that was scheduled for John, so John could get a little more rest. The helicopter went down within 50 yards of the ship. Both pilots and Bill were never found.

My buddy, Joe, now lives in Atlanta. He was a Navy rescue swimmer....one of those guys who jump from a helicopter into 20 foot waves to save a pilot or overboard sailor.....
