there's a second massive waves of home foreclosures on the way. This time from the Sun-Belt. mostly newer homes bought by white collar workers and service industry folks.

The wall street mess isn't done being over: the biggest bubble ever isn't finished bursting.

America will never get over its addiction to oil, because it is really an addiction to personal automobiling. However it is possible to negate the amount we demand from the middle east with just Conservation. the self-proclaimed leaders of the silent majority have been behind the ball in promoting conservation. Conservation leadership could get us off Middle east oil in about 3 months. I can understand why this would be political suicide now, but it sure could have taken off immediately after 9/11.
