From Martin Luther King's lips to our ears and tonight.

From the time I first heard Martin Luther King say "I have a dream", I worked and prayed for this day.

And it's here, in my lifetime.

Blessings to everyone.

I am so happy.

And--- Let's not forget Lydon Baines Johnson, addressing a Joint Session of Congress in 1965 to introduce The Voting Rights Act, exclaiming in that Texas drawl, "We shall overcome."

Let's not forget the words of President Elect Barack Obama last night.

"What began twenty-one months ago in the depths of winter must not end on this autumn night. This victory alone is not the change we seek - it is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were. It cannot happen without you."

Rosa sat, so Martin could walk. Martin walked, so Barack could run.

Congratulations, Mr. President.
