Actually she is a young white college student (I referred to her only as Miss Todd: which is her name) and no matter her race or age or sex I think she might need some help. This is a cry for attention and I guess it does have something to do with the election. Someone isn't voting for Obama and wants to make it look like his supporters are wacky. I am sure there is enough real evidence out there showing both sides have some wacky supporters without having to fake a story.

Here seems to be the final piece of the story. McCain volunteer who, as Danielle said, needs some serious help.

Yes, this certainly has gotten out of hand

Danielle Masters wrote:Stephen, you bring up this story as evidence of how evil Obama supporters are and then when the police doubt her, you make light of it. Looks like she is a liar so what does that say about Obama supporters now? This has nothing to do with Obama supporters being out of hand.

First Joe the Plumber and now Miss Todd.
I brought up the story as evidence that this election was getting out of hand... I responded to Phil's post with smiley faces (tongue and cheek).. Funny, how you responded to this story as opposed to the old white woman calling Obama a name...

Well, the woman now claims she made the entire story up.

It is sad, the ends people go to.

FWIW

Apparently the young woman has a history of mental illness. Since the district attorney is looking at her case, I hope that she gets the mental health care she needs. This is one of those cases were jail time makes no sense.

Steve,
Lets both gather a bunch of Obama and McCain signs, put them on Bill Calls tree lawn and at midnight we'll sing "Don't Cry For Me Argentina". 8) Then at 12:05 well take all the signs down at retire to a watering hole of choice and stay there till the election is over.

I want to as well! I have a nice, sonorous baritone-bass voice to add to the mix. Anyway, I sing better than Antonia Banderas in the movie. I think.

Alto here and I also know the chorus by heart.
