A thought exercise

Suppose a liberal Democrat lost the popular vote, but was awarded the electoral votes of a crucial state (in which there were an extraordinary number of highly suspicious votes cast) by a 5-4 decision of a Supreme Court, five of whose members were liberal Democrats.
Suppose also that the brother of the liberal Democrat was governor of the state in question and that the state secretary of state who certified the vote had been chair of the liberal democratâ€™s reelection committee in the state.
Would liberal democrats then have much of a leg to stand on if they tried to cry voter fraud because a Republican candidate had supported and worked in the past with an organization that was fraudulently registering names, but not fraudulently putting people in the voting booth?
And what would conservative Republicans say about the legitimacy of the liberal Democratâ€™s presidency?

Bobby Jindal will not pick Sarah Palin. My prediction: she goes back to Alaska, fades into obscurity, and merits an asterisk and a curiosity listing in wikipedia.

I believe she will go back to Alaska but rather than drifting into obscurity my prediction is that something will surface about her background or she will do something so bizarre that we will all be shocked at how close such an individual was to the highest office in the country.

Sarah Palin will rise in the Republican party. As they openly admit, she is the best they have. It is what many are now calling the VPIL_ factor. Bush was elected because he was a good guy that they would like to have a beer with. Well after 8 years of beer it is now time for a little loving. As one guy at the Tarrymore Bar said "You know if she was in the same bar as me, she is a regular Joe, I might have a chance hitting on that. She is hot."

Jindal has not a chance in hell. He seems pretty bright, the kind of person that would say, "I can't say that it is a lie." They need candidates like GWB and Palin, that just go OK that was easy to say.
