Obama And ACORN Subject of RICO Investigation!
Ed Fitzgerald, special prosecutor in the CIA leak investigation, has mounted a ten state voter fraud and corruption investigation involving Barack Obama and ACORN.

Obama has had a long and fruitfull relationship with ACORN:

Obama's supporters and the MSM have done their best to bury these stories but it seems that Obama's past may catch up with him before election day.
The question is: Will he be indicted before or after he is elected president?

Will Rezko live to testify?

These are great articles. Who was the Weekly Standard one written by? I can't remember. Who is Brian Faughnan? And really, an alleged "pro-Hillary" website that really is just McCain folk in (less than perfect) disguise? Heck, one poster there forgot to take their McCain picture off their posting to put a Clinton one on. Seriously, THIS is the October surprise you were hoping for? Good luck with that.

Great articles?! Only the Chicago Sun Times link is an article. All the other links are op- Ed pieces and discussion blogs; from ….you guessed it… the right! I googled all of key words Billo used in his Threadline and then googled the entire phrase...guess what same result! None of the major networks even come up as links. Not even FOX. I appall voter fraud as any decent American does. If ACORN has been taken over by a gang of thugs then justice, I hope will, and should be served to those ACTUALLY involved.

"CLEVELAND - Two Ohio voters, including Domino's pizza worker Christopher Barkley , claimed yesterday that they were hounded by the community-activist group ACORN to register to vote several times, even though they made it clear they'd already signed up."
If the conservative groups did this there would be rioting in the streets.

I was kind of being sarcastic...

If this were only true. After the 2004 debacle where from the office of Ken Blackwell basically did his darnedest to ensure that his man won the election, I am surprised no on rioted in the streets. Sure there were protests but that was about it.
I have no doubt that some folks are working hard to get as many people registered as possible and if some are getting out of hand I also agree that they should be held accountable for their behaviors. If you feel the need to tie this to Obama in hopes that it will stick with him, good luck with that but really that is mostly desperation leaking out again.
Swiftboating really shouldn't be the only way that the Right can win elections but it seriously seems like it is all they have any more. Old ideals of the party (limit spending, shrink government, limit government intrusion into private lives, and now free market capitalism always is good) are being thrown out daily in this current administration and nothing we are seeing from the current candidate looks to be any different. Lacking the ability to win on issues alone, the party does what got the current ninny in office...throw as much mud as possible and hope it sticks. Old school mudslinging used to be bad but this new era of essentially creating fantasy problems is getting worse.
I wonder if Obama will "release the hounds" of the MoveOn folks soon? He has essentially kept them under wraps and hasn't let loose with them but at this point, are we at a "mutual assured destruction" point where he may as well let fly the nukes? Or does he get to stay above the fray a bit and let McCain sink in his own mess?

I am torn on how I feel about the mudslinging. While I appreciate that Obama has taken the high road I am terrified that taking the high road will lead to his defeat. The negativity from the McCain camp is despicable and I really don't want to see that from the Obama camp and in the end hopefully the nice guy will win.

If the polls are right, it's unlikely.

I know, I see the polls, but I still worry. This morning over coffee we were talking about the October surprise. A few said the imagined Osama bin Laden getting captured. I guess I won't rest easy that Obama is going to win, until it happens. And honestly I do hope he continues to take the high road because if his campaign started to be all about hate then I'd have a hard time feeling so positive about his campaign. I say let the right keep the hate in this election.

What boggles my mind is there are people that still buy into it...

Why am I not surprised that it was a Domino's worker that said he was harassed to register.
I haven't bought Domino's pizza in over 15 years because of their right wing stance. None of my friends or family do either.
